Download the AppImage
  1. Make it executable: chmod +x PromptStream-0.1.1.AppImage
  2. Open General → Permissions and click Grant access for Microphone, Keyboard access, and Automatic paste.
  3. Approve the system administrator and remote-input dialogs when asked.
  4. Launch the AppImage, sign in, hold Right Alt, and speak.

macOS

macOS 13 or later · Apple Silicon only

Download for Apple Silicon
  1. Unzip the download and drag PromptStream into Applications.
  2. The app is not yet notarized by Apple, so the first launch is blocked. Right-click the app and choose Open, then confirm — you only do this once.
  3. Open General → Permissions and click Grant access for the microphone.
  4. Click Grant access for Keyboard access and Automatic paste. Approve Accessibility and Automation → System Events in System Settings.
  5. Sign in with your account, hold Right ⌘, and speak.

Windows
